Do I Need Labview To Run LArVa?

No.  All the is required to run LArVa is an Arduino, a Windows computer and a USB cable.

The LArVa download includes an executable (.exe) that turns an Arduino into a data acquisition platform.  No other software is needed to read analog voltages, write PWM signals and read and write digital lines using an Arduino and your Windows computer.  However, you can not modify this program.

LArVa also includes Labview source files (.vi) that can be used to build even more powerful data acquisition programs.  Opening, editing and running the source files does require Labview.  The combination of LArVa and Labview will enable you to modify LArVa source files to build your own tests and measurements.
